Twenty Seniors and Young Leaders from across Scotland recently returned from a three day European trip to Rome and The Vatican.
The trip to Rome was truly amazing! As being the only girl I felt so welcomed by all the boys and had a lovely time with them all. In the short period of time (3 days) we got to see Rome’s Top 10 attractions.
Niall and Bill were great organisers that entertained us and took care of us from the beginning to the end. The accommodation was in a good location and offered good choice of food for breakfast. It was wonderful that mini buses were arranged and took us to the hotel and back to the airport. It was exciting to have a tour guide that told us so much about Colosseum, history and landmarks.
I cannot find anything that I did not like about the trip, even thought the flight and wake up time at the hotel were very early in the morning and there was lots of walking.
I cannot wait to go on the next trip with Young Leaders’ Network and would love to see trips like this organised twice a year as it allows you to meet lots of nice people, see capital cities and learn more about other cultures.
I truly believe it is well worth going on Young Leader’s Network trips even if you have already visited the city.
