Seniors
Seniors are for Boys and Young Men aged 15 plus. The Boys' Brigade has just launched a new dedicated programme material for Seniors entitled Challenge Plus. This new programme material is split into Projects and Challenges, with projects grouped into 3 programme zones:
Community
Life Skills
Recreation & Leisure
The Challenges are focussed on activities that can be completed either as an individual or carried out as a group. Each of the projects link to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award service, skills, expedition and physical sections.
Seniors can work towards advanced awards, such as the Queen’s Badge (this is the top award a Boy in the Brigade can be awarded) and there may be the chance to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The Challenge Plus material links directly with both of these advanced awards.
Within the Battalion there is a dedicated Seniors group, which gets together usually the first Monday of each month to do a wide range of activities. Go karting, rock climbing, skiing, ghost tour, paintballing and a weekend activity camp all planned. For further details of the activities currently planned contact Scott Drever, Seniors Organiser or download the activities list below.
